Daniele Ranieri 2023 Violin Roma ITALIA イタリア・ローマに工房を構え、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ、チェロの製作と修復を手掛けるDaniele Ranieri（ダニエレ・ラニエーリ）。 クレモナでは、マエストロ Riccarda Dacquati のもとで弦楽器製作を学び、さらに Edgar Russ からオールドニスの技法について研鑽を積みました。 自身を「若いけれど、昔ながらの製作家」と表現する彼が何より大切にしているのは、歴史と芸術、そして情熱を受け継ぐ伝統的な手仕事です。 木材に鑿や鉋を入れ、一つひとつの工程を丁寧に積み重ねながら、自らの手で楽器に生命を吹き込んでいきます。 ヴァイオリンは Stradivari、Guarneri、Amati のモデルに加え、自身のパーソナルモデルも製作。 ヴィオラには Stradivari や Giuseppe Ornati のモデルを採用し、39.5cmから43cmまで幅広いサイズを手掛けています。チェロは Stradivari モデルを中心に製作しています。 美しい外観はもちろん、細部の仕上げや響きにまで徹底してこだわり、奏者と楽器との対話を何よりも大切にするDaniele Ranieri。 歴史と芸術が息づく古都ローマの工房で、イタリア弦楽器製作の伝統を受け継ぎながら、現代の演奏家の感性に寄り添う楽器を生み出し続けるマエストロです。 Based in Rome, Italy, Daniele Ranieri is a violin maker and restorer dedicated to the creation and restoration of violins, violas, and cellos. In Cremona, he studied the art of violin making under Maestro Riccarda Dacquati, and further refined his knowledge of traditional varnishing techniques under the guidance of Edgar Russ, with particular focus on the character and appearance of old Italian varnish. Describing himself as “young, yet an old-fashioned maker,” Ranieri places great importance on traditional craftsmanship?an art shaped by history, beauty, and passion, and passed down through generations. Working directly with wood using chisels, planes, and traditional hand tools, he approaches each stage of the making process with patience and precision, gradually bringing each instrument to life through his own hands. For his violins, Ranieri works with models inspired by Stradivari, Guarneri, and Amati, alongside his own personal model. His violas are based on Stradivari and Giuseppe Ornati models and are crafted in a wide range of sizes, from 39.5 to 43 cm. His cellos are primarily inspired by Stradivari models. Beyond the beauty of their appearance, Ranieri’s instruments reflect his meticulous attention to detail and his constant pursuit of a rich and expressive sound. Above all, he values the dialogue between musician and instrument. In his workshop in Rome, a city where history and art remain deeply alive, Daniele Ranieri continues the traditions of Italian violin making while creating instruments that respond to the sensitivity and individuality of today’s musicians.
